Kuliah Sambil Siaran? Why Not?!



Moh. Rudi Taufana namanya, Mahasiswa semester 6  Program Studi Tadris Bahasa Inggris Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan IAIN Palangka Raya yang dikenal dengan berbagai prestasi, mahasiswa yang aktif dalam bidang organisasi baik di dalam dan di luar kampus serta kuliah sambil bekerja.
Rudi, demikian ia akrab dipanggil oleh teman-temannya, Runner Up 1 Duta Bahasa Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah tahun 2018 ini kini sedang menjalani karirnya sebagai seorang penyiar di Kalteng Pos Radio (KPFM) yang berada dibawah naungan Kalteng Pos, sebuah Perusahaan Media di Kota Palangka Raya yang bergerak dalam bidang penerbitan surat kabar harian pertama dan terbesar di Kalimantan Tengah yang termasuk dalam grup Jawa Pos, yang berpusat di Jl. Tjilik Riwut Km 2,5 Palangka Raya.


Duta IAIN Palangka Raya tahun 2017 ini memulai karirnya sebagai seorang penyiar radio sejak tahun 2017, saat itu ia masih duduk di semester 3 dan bekerja sebagai seorang penyiar radio di sebuah lembaga penyiaran Radio Cindra Awigra yang berpusat di Jl. Samratulangi Palangka Raya dan melebarkan sayapnya ke jenjang yang lebih profesional dengan bergabung bersama Kalteng Pos Radio di awal tahun 2019.
Penerima beasiswa Best Excellence Service (BES) Training on Flight Attendant Preparatory and Airline Staff Program ini bergabung bersama Kalteng Pos Radio melalui serangkaian seleksi mulai dari Pengumpulan berkas seperti Curriculum vitae dan Surat lamaran, serta berkas pelengkap lainnya, dilanjutkan dengan Interview dan tahapan terakhir yaitu tes teknik vokal dan teknik penyiaran sebelum akhirnya diterima sebagai seorang penyiar radio dan bergabung bersama Kalteng pos.

“Menjadi seorang penyiar radio tidaklah mudah, kita dituntut harus banyak tahu. Banyak tahu dalam artian memiliki wawasan yang luas dan mengikuti perkembangan informasi terkini dari semua lini, bahkan bisa dibilang kita harus lebih dahulu tahu sebagai bekal dan perbendaharaan wawasan yang kita miliki. Cakap dalam berbicara, pandai menguasai situasi serta memiliki tingkat kepekaan dan konsentrasi yang tinggi dalam hal mengoperasikan perangkat-perangkat penyiaran juga menjadi kewajiban bagi seorang penyiar radio”. Imbuh Musyrif Ma’had Al-Jami’ah IAIN Palangka Raya angkatan 2017-2018 ini.
Saat ini Purna Paskibraka Indonesia Kabupaten Barito Utara tahun 2014 tersebut masih aktif menjalani karirnya sebagai seorang penyiar radio dan tidak melupakan kewajiban utamanya sebagai seorang Mahasiswa di IAIN Palangka Raya.

Playing Video Games : Good or bad?


A video game is an electronic game that involves interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device such as a TV screen or computer monitor. Almost all children like to play video games. At the times parent are being worried about the effect that will their children get. The bad news is they always think that the effects is only about negative thing. There are various reason which carry as that point of view. Eventhough video games have many negative effects from some parents point of view, I believe that video games are able to give many good effects and benefit for childrens’ character.
       Some people said that these are only games. Video games are only games and there is nothing will be change on the children, but negative effects for them. They think that video games only gives negative effects to the children or who plays it because of their own point of view. However it is not only about negative effects for the children we can see from another side, there are many of positive thing that will change the children itself. In education for example, in every video games they are using English in their mode and it will be good for someone who plays it because they need to understand it by English. Then they used to use English and it has good effect for them.
       Some parents in the world are always warn their children to much when they are playing video games with various reason, and convince their child that video games only gives bad effects for them. They always said about addiction and waste their time. Nevertheless in my own opinion it is still parents’ mistake in case of childrens’freedom in playing and explore theirself. There are so many positive effects for the children who plays video games. They can think accurately, they can manage their time, it will prove their skill in language and many others.
       Some parents also have their own view in case of letting their children to playing video games, because of the health of their eyes, they are more worrying about the health of their children. However it still about the way of parent manage their children in order to playing video games. It is mean do not let them killing their time only for playing video games, but also still let them explore their world, their own life.
       Many of parents are worrying about their children when they are playing video games with many factors of negative effects. However it is not only about negative effects there are many various positive effects.
       Finally, playing video games is not only influence bad or negative effects. There are so many positive thing that we can get from playing video games. Especially in childrens’ character building and education, because I believe that video games are able to gives many good effects and benefit for childrens’ character.

Thesis statement : Eventhough video games have many negative effects from some parents point of view, I believe that video games are able to give many good effects and benefit for children’s character.

A.    Opposing Argument 1
Some people say that these are only games, video games are only games there is nothing will be change on the children but negative effects for them.
Rebuttal to Argument 1
However, it is not only about negative effects for children we can see from another side, there are many of positive thing that will be change the children itself.
B.     Opposing Argument 2
Some parents in the world are always warn their children to much when they are playing video games with various reason and convince their child that video games only gives bad effects to them.

Nevertheless, in my own opinion it still parents mistake in case of childrens’ freedom in playing and explore theirself, there are so many positive effects for the children who plays video games.

Some parents also have their own view in case of letting their children playing video games because of the health of their eyes, they are more worrying about the eyes health of their children.

However, it still about the way of parent manage their children in order to playing video games. It is mean do not let them killing their time only for playing video games, but also still let them explore their world and their own life.

Many of parents are worrying about their children when they are playing video games with many factors of negative effects. However it is not only about negative effects there are many various positive effects. However it is not only about negative effects there are many various positive effects for childrens’ character.

Conclusion
 The process of making argumentative through the use of this webquest is easy to understand and also using simple explanation, so far it is really helpful for the beginner author.
